Electric Entertainment Promotes Raul Piña to Director of Int’l Distribution & Marketing
Raul Piña has been promoted to director of international distribution and marketing at LA-based production and distribution company Electric Entertainment (EE).
He has been elevated from his previous role of manager of worldwide distribution and international marketing, which he held from late 2020.
In his new position, Piña will oversee all facets of distribution, sales, and marketing for EE’s content in Latin America, Brazil and Portugal. He will also assist Electric’s domestic arm in the distribution of the company’s OTT service ElectricNOW to all US Hispanic streaming platforms.
Piña joined EE in 2019, initially serving as an international sales assistant. Prior to that he worked as a sales and marketing associate at the Independent Film & Television Alliance.
Indie studio EE is headed by producer Dean Devlin along with his partners Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson. The company produces content such as Leverage: Redemption for Amazon Prime Video and Almost Paradise for Amazon Freevee.
