The Ark Renewed for Season 3 at Syfy
The Ark is going to keep flying.
TVLine has learned exclusively that the sci-fi adventure series The Ark has been renewed for Season 3.
The new batch of episodes is currently on track for a 2026 premiere date.
Created by Dean Devlin, The Ark is set place 100 years in the future, when planetary colonization missions have begun as a necessity to help secure the survival of the human race.
In Season 2 of the series, which aired its finale in October, after the brave crew of Ark One reached their destination and found it uninhabitable, they struggled to survive long enough to locate a new home for themselves and all the ships that would follow.
The series stars Christie Burke (Maid) as Lt. Sharon Garnet, Richard Fleeshman (The Sandman) as Lt. James Brice, Reece Ritchie (The Outpost) as Lt. Spencer Lane (and his clone Ian), Stacey Read as life support chief Alicia Nevins and Ryan Adams as horticulture whiz Angus Medford.
“We’re thrilled to launch another season of The Ark!” says series creator, co-showrunner and executive producer Dean Devlin. “Back in space again, and the best is yet to come!”
The prolific Devlin, whose many EP credits include the Leverage and Librarians franchises, co-showruns The Ark with Jonathan Glassner (Stargate SG-1). Devlin and Glassner executive-produce alongside Marc Roskin and Rachel Olschan-Wilson; Jonathan English and Mark Franco serve as producers.
