The Librarians Gear Up for Ultimate Battle in Exclusive Season 3 Trailer

The Librarians are in for a whole other world of trouble when the show premieres Nov. 20.

As the exclusive trailer for season 3 (above) shows, more and more people are discovering magic — including a particular disgruntled magician played by guest star Sean Astin — and in the process, are creating new magical artifacts.

Of course that won’t be all that’s on the recently reunited team’s plates as they find themselves going up against the ancient Egyptian God of Chaos, as well as a new foe, The Department of Statistical Anomalies (D.O.S.A.), who are out to arrest them and take control of the Library. But that might be the least of their worries, as Flynn soon discovers that the “ultimate battle” the still-missing Judson predicted will indeed come to pass.

Looks like the librarians might need more than just their brains to get out of this one.

Season 3 of The Librarians premieres on Sunday, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
